BEAT BEHIND THE DYKES is a Dutch mailorder established in the late 80´s. The company specializes in obscure worldwide 60's (beat, garage, mod, psych etc.) and 70's/80's (punk, mod & powerpop) vinyl. BEAT BEHIND THE DYKES also sells reissues and magazines. All records are sold set-sale, no frustrating auction games here! BEAT BEHIND THE DYKES is run by a collector for collectors, so record trading is always encouraged! If you have anything cool to offer (only similiar to what you see here!) then please get in touch! Sending wantlists really helps! Lots of records go directly into collections without ever appearing on the website!

GRADING: All records are graded as accurate as possible. If not satisfied with it, a full refund is possible. Grading = record/sleeve. I use the standard grading system, so M (mint), EX (excellent), VG (very good), G (good) etc. +(+)/-(-) = slightly better/worse than .... Some abbreviations that I use: wo(b)c = writing on (back)cover; wol = writing on label; toc/tol = tape on cover/label; rw = ringwear; soc/sol = sticker on cover/label; nc = no center; co(h) = cut out (hole).

ORDERING: Send an e-mail to reserve the items that you want. Don´t forget to mention your name & postal address. For a good fill it helps to list alternatives! Postage = extra. I´ll try to keep the postage costs as low as I can (solid packaging, but no fees for materials, handling etc.). If you want your package to be send registered (you pay for it!), please let me know. I take no responsibilities for lost packages! Do not send payment before confirmation of your order! Reissues can be temporary out of stock, so don´t worry when it takes some time to send these out to you. Please allow me a few days to reply in the ordering frenzy of the first days of a new list - I´ll try to come back to you as soon as I can!

PAYMENT: All prices listed are in Euro (€). Current exchange rates: 1 U.S. $ = € 0,66; 1 U.K. £ = € 1,33. Payment: PAYPAL, direct transfer to my giro- or bankaccount (for European customers; ask for IBAN/BIC), cash in a (registered) letter (= at your own risk, but real safe to Holland!), I.M.O. (for Japanese customers) or Western Union money transfer. A 3.5% fee applies for PAYPAL with a max of $ 5.00/€ 5.00. You can pay with your credit-card through PAYPAL, but I cannot accept credit-card payments directly. Bankchecks & money-orders only for orders over € 100,00 and you pay for the extra charges (= € 10,00). I´ll hold records 3 weeks for Europe and 5 weeks for overseas. After that period reserved records may be sold somewhere else!
